Next meeting is on Wednesday Nov 12th at 7:00 P.M. at Liberty Hall in Marstons Mills. WOW!!! The best of the best! Three of our best known and best fisherman will be presenting a program on local trout waters. How to get there - best times to fish - best places to fish - the best flies to use. Al Brewster, a legend here on the Cape and all over the East, will talk about Shubael Pond. He has been fishing this pond more years than most of us have been around. Scott Dietrich, who runs our fly fishing school and guides kayak fishing trips, will talk about Hamblin Pond. Bob Nickerson, past CCCTU Prez, outstanding fly tyer, and small stream fisherman, will talk on how to fish our own Quashnet River. Their expertise goes well beyond these three fishing holes, so the info they impart will apply to most of the Cape ponds and streams. This is one of those "DON'T MISS MEETINGS" *** CCTU is looking for a new Prez. *** The new board will be voted in at the Dec. 2008 meeting. Mark Hattman did a great job filling in after his term expired and now is the opportunity for a new leader to step forward. The President's job is not difficult (been there - done that) and you will have outstanding help from the rest of the board. Board meeting at 6:00 P.M.
