The Cape Cod Trout Unlimited Fly Fishing School
We offer an annual, two day, fly fishing school that includes instruction and lunch for a reasonable fee. Our expert instructors help you with everything from setting up the rod, to fly selection and knots, to how to safely catch and release your fish.
In the Classroom

*Hands-On Learning with lines, knots, fly tying & fly casting
*Techniques for fly fishing streams, ponds, and saltwater
*Trout stream entomology, conservation, and restoration
Casting Field
Our experience instructors will provide instruction and demonstration the four-part cast, false cast and roll cast. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their casting while instructors observe and offer feedback so that you can confidently cast on your own.
All necessary fly casting equipment will be provided
On the Water
One element that sets our class apart from many others is that you will get the opportunity to put all of your new fly fishing knowledge to work on Peter’s Pond! Our participants will spend some time on the water, fishing for trout, while our instructors are there to help you safely catch and release a fish!
